Glowing trail, lonely takeout, Hobbs trimming

Trail Construction

A new trail surface glows Tuesday on the mountain bike trail next to Lincoln Junior High School in Bentonville. Rock Solid Trail Contracting completed a project Tuesday to resurface the trails using chipseal paving with aggregate that soaks up sunlight and glows after dark. Aaron Rogers, owner of Rock Solid, said the new surface is finished but needs time to cure before it can open for riding. The company plans to start applying the same treatment next week to the trail 'Choo Choo' in the nearby Slaughter Pen Hollow Multi-Use trail system. Go to nwaonline.com/photos to see more photos.
