Tadpole @ Giant's Ridge
Giant’s Ridge is one of Northern Minnesota’s premier outdoor recreation destinations. This well-established alpine ski and snowboard resort, just outside Biwabik, MN, expanded its portfolio to include lift-access mountain biking in 2020.
This trail starts out mellow and gradually progresses in difficulty throughout the ride. This trail has man-made rollers, berms, rock crossings, and forgiving jump opportunities. This trail provides beginner riders a place to practice and progress before heading to Leap Frog. It is worth noting that while Tadpole is a green trail that is suited for beginners, it can be challenging for riders who are new to downhill mountain biking.
