Cedar Grove Bike Track

In 2022, Rock Solid Designed and Constructed a custom Skills Loop / Pump Track at the historic Grand Hotel.

This is designed to be a family friendly amenity along with Tennis and Mini Golf at the Woodlands Activity Center.

Special care was taken to ensure the bike trail fit in with the rest of the build quality and style of Grand Hotel. This includes intricate Rock Patios and Walking Paths that cross the Chip Seal Surface.

The All-Weather Chip Seal surface ensures consistent ride feel, with minimal maintenance.

Features were installed made from Rock, Cedar, and Powder-Coated Steel. These ensure the trail rides consistently and safely for years to come.

Challenges included the logistics of transporting materials and machines to the hotel by ferry and horse cart, navigating the islands very strict zoning ordinances and completing construction within narrow windows during November 2022 and May 2023.
