Mike comes from a motocross background in his early years and has been an avid mountain biker since 2010. He’s been living the bike life out of his sprinter van for five years now. He travels the country in his free time, riding as many new trails as possible trying to actively experience different types of trail, which influence his own unique trail building style.
If you ever ride with Mike you may hear a catch phrases like “hold ‘er wide and let ‘er slide." He is known among Rock Solid team members for hitting the biggest jumps and throwing his signature moto whips. Mike has been with Rock Solid since 2018 starting out at the Lake Leatherwood trails.
He was promoted to Foreman in June of 2019 while working in Copper Harbor, MI. His most recent projects as Foreman include a beginner flow trail in Copper Harbor, a 1.5 mile intermediate, gravity oriented flow trail in Fayetteville, AR, the Mamma Bear project in AR and the Cuyuna Cruser project, sponsored by CLMBC.
You will find Mike riding all mountain style trails, searching for steep rocky, rooty, chunky trails with a wide stance letting er’ dance! He says he "likes his trails much like whiskey, on the rocks!"
