Josh Blum

Josh joined the Rock Solid Team in the Spring of 2023 after a career at WisDOT, serving in various capacities that spanned well over two decades. Josh has a skill set that blends a background in design, construction, and maintenance paired with extensive volunteerism with trails and communities. Knowledge learned on the job and through real-life experience provides a solid base that boosts each area and translates well into the world of trail and community development.

One of Josh’s side projects outside of work has been creating and hosting the Trail EAffect Podcast, which was born out of a curiosity about how trails impact communities and the people who live in those communities to share his guest’s stories with the goal of inspiring others.

Josh has been a mountain biker since the early 90s and truly believes that trails can transform people and communities in many positive ways.
